From which locations can Auto Bridge Ghana export cars?
Auto Bridge Ghana can export your cars from 6 different locations: NY, GA, VA, TX, CA, and WA.
Can Auto Bridge Ghana consolidate my cars with those of other clients and ship them to Ghana?
Yes, we can consolidate your car at any of the 6 ports to reduce your shipping costs.
What happens if the auction loses the key or causes additional damage to my car?
Auction policy states they do not take responsibility for stolen keys or additional damage.
Does Auto Bridge Ghana provide photos from the auction before the driver picks up the car?
Yes, Auto Bridge Ghana will provide you with photos from the auction before the driver picks up your car, so you can see its condition.
Does Auto Bridge Ghana take full responsibility if they damage my car in their yard?
Yes, in the case your car has been damaged in one of our partners’ warehouses, Auto Bridge Ghana will cover that damage.
How many days do I have to pay the auction to avoid Relist?
It depends on the auction, but in general, you have 8 days. Some auctions, such as Manheim, do not accept Relists at all.
How many days do I have to avoid storage fees?
Usually, auctions give you 3 days (including the purchase day) free, and after that, they start charging storage fees.
What if Auto Bridge Ghana is late picking up my car?
We need 3 business days to pick up your car (payment on auction day is not included). If, for any reason, your car is picked up after 3 business days, we take full responsibility for storage fees. If you purchased a car in a sub-lot location, Auto Bridge Ghana is not responsible for any storage fees.
Who is responsible for random customs inspections?
If Customs places your container for a random inspection, all inspection fees will be 100% the client’s responsibility.
How many days do I have to pay duties in Ghana?
To avoid demurrage at Tema port, you have 7 days after your car is unloaded; after that, the port will start charging demurrage fees.
How much security deposit do I need to pay if I want Auto Bridge Ghana to bid on my car at an auto auction in the USA?
We will require a 10% security deposit equal to the maximum amount you want us to bid on your car.
